I can’t tell you how much this chalkboard sums up my life right now, every time I check something off my list, I think exactly that, Phew, I’m done! Sorry I haven’t been writing much, but I have been beyond busy. I have been extremely productive in many parts of my life, but blogging got pushed to the side in order to do that! But don’t fret, things seemed to have calmed down and I am back for my regular appearances. In the meantime, this chalkboard by etsy seller Mary Kate McDevitt would definitely help you feel productive even on the laziest of days. Perhaps this weekend I can write “watch tv and take a nap”!
Thanks to Blush!nk for the great find.
What would you write?

These garlands from Confetti System are so fun. They would brighten up any party or even a kids room. One hanging on a wall would be so pretty and multiple strands strung across the ceiling would add so much to a plain party space.
Thanks Oh Joy for this discover!

BFFE in Brownies circa 1986
A lot of what I post is about how to make your life easier and more fun. But most of the stuff wouldn’t be very much fun without friends to enjoy it with. So this post is about friends and how great they are. Which kind of reminds me of the quote from the Brownies – “Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold.” Silver or gold, life is always better with them around.

You might want to look sunkissed for your next upcoming event, or like you just got back from a week in Mexico. Regardless, what if you you could get a sunless tan in the comfort of your own home? Hamptons Tanning allows you to do just that in NYC or the Hamptons. So if your schedule is too packed to head to your favorite spray tan studio or you just prefer to have the service come to you, check it out. Want a little more incentive? The service is now 50% off (well according to their website, it was through June 15, but they are still advertising it, so you still might be able to get that rate).

How cute are these sandals? If some recent warm weather purchases have forced you to get rid of some older shoes that are still in decent condition, why not donate them? Soles 4 Souls takes your donated shoes and distributes them to those in need. They should still be wearable, but they will take any style, whether they are sneakers, boots or high heels. Check the site for drop off locations near you or organize a drive in your neighborhood.

We all scream for ice cream, especially when it is only 31cents a scoop!!! But anything extra you pay tomorrow night at Baskin Robbins supports the National Fallen Fighters Foundation. Remember not to eat it too fast to avoid brain freeze!
